In a devastating update, Joe Biden’s Homeland Security is losing track of nearly two out of every 10 border crossers who are released into the United States.
The Democrat’s massive catch-and-release program is an abysmal failure for the American people.
The federal government is not able to keep contact with tens of thousands of border crossers that they release into American communities each month.
Between March 2021 through August 2022, Biden’s DHS lost track of more than 177,000 border crossers released into the U.S.
A total of 981,000 were released, the audit found.
“U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) cannot always obtain and does not always record migrant addresses, and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) does not always validate migrant addresses prior to migrant release into the United States,” the report found.
“Based on our review of 981,671 migrant records documented by USBP from March 2021 through August 2022, addresses for more than 177,000 migrant records were either missing, invalid for delivery, or not legitimate residential locations.”

In 2022 alone, the US encountered the highest number ever recorded of illegal immigrants at the US southern border. This represents a 200% increase from former President Donald Trump’s last year in office in 2020.
Under Trump, Americans saw the lowest rate of illegal immigration in over 40 years.
Under Biden, we have seen the highest rate of illegal immigration over 60 years.
General Michael Flynn, who has personally witnessed the problem, describes the situation under Biden as a “mass invasion” that is “out of control.”
Biden notoriously ended Trump’s “remain in Mexico” policy, which forced foreign nationals seeking to enter the U.S. through the southern border — illegally or without proper documentation — to be returned to Mexico.
These individuals needed to wait in Mexico while their legal cases are adjudicated. This border security program under Trump and kept migrants in Mexico as they awaited their hearings.
Biden, on the other hand, opened the floodgates and created a disaster by removing this policy. This signaled that everyone can come through the border even if it’s illegally and without proper documentation.
Biden and the Democrats have falsely claimed President Trump was “racist” and “xenophobic” for his “remain in Mexico” policy.
Under Trump, an estimated 68,000 migrants were returned to Mexico under the policy, according to the Department of Homeland Security. These individuals will need to wait in Mexico while their legal cases are adjudicated.
Biden, on the other hand, allows migrant asylum seekers into the U.S. prior to court hearings, which many Republicans have opposed. The Democrat’s strategy of allowing migrants into the U.S. gives them the opportunity to disappear before their court hearings.

As a result, the White House confirmed that some illegal immigrants have received free cell phones so that they can be contacted and “checked on” in hopes that they don’t disappear within the U.S. before their court hearing.
Although Biden claims that he has “done more to secure the border than anybody else,” the direct opposite is true. Biden has made the problem more worse than anyone else in US history.
